Hands-On Training Equipment Options
Our live online courses include expert demonstrations on real equipment. But if you want to get your hands on the gear yourself, we've got you covered.
We offer training equipment rentals shipped directly to your location. Practice the same labs we demonstrate in class - and then some. Each rental includes access to additional lab exercises and video tutorials beyond what we cover in the live sessions.
Training Stations
Each base station includes an HD camera with gooseneck arm so the instructor can view your work, provide guidance, and verify lab completions.

Don't Want to Rent? Here Are Some Alternatives
Renting from us is the easiest option - the equipment matches exactly what we use in demonstrations. But if you prefer other routes:
- Buy budget versions from Amazon - Basic multimeters and electrical components can be found cheaply. Quality varies, but it works for learning.
- Rent from equipment rental companies - Outfits like TEquipment, TRS-RenTelco, JM Test, or Transcat rent professional calibration and test equipment.
- Borrow from your facility - If your plant or shop has the applicable equipment, ask if you can use it during training.
- Go in with others - Split the cost of one rental station with classmates and rotate through labs.
- Buy used from eBay (Then resale) - Calibrators and meters can be found at a discount. Just make sure it's guaranteed functional and test it immediately after it arrives. You can can usually sell it for close to the same market value at a lower loss than renting equipment (ours included).
Keep in mind: our course demonstrations and lab instructions are based on the equipment we rent. If you source your own with other brands and models, there may be minor differences in operation or features so some labs may require adaptations or some hair-pulling.
